At MHAC we have been blessed and believe in giving back to the community. Here are some ways that MHAC has been involved either through fundraising or donation of gym space or membership. All these events and fundraising activities take time and energy and they simply would not happen without the dedication, passion and effort of our wonderful, multi-talented employees.

• OTSD school supply drives (giving away free passes for school supplies) - 6 years running
• OTSD donated $25,000 worth of gym equipment for existing and new high school
• Donations of membership/s for school fundraisers - $1,500 value per year - 10 years running
• Sandy High School: gym space donation for booster events and football team banquet
• Host to SHS racquetball team
• Work closely with Kiwanis in Sandy: yearly toy drives for Christmas, gym space donation for their event(s), food drives for Christmas baskets
• Annual "Run Girlfriend Run" club sponsored event with proceeds going to the American Heart Association - 3 years running
• Host to American Red Cross bi-annual blood drives
• Host Zumba events to fundraise for Joplin relief
• Raised $3,600 for Mercy Corps for relief to Haiti
• Gym space donation for the "party girl team" to fundraise for Relay for Life
• Yearly "random acts of kindness" campaign - giving away free movie tickets, coffee's and car washes to unsuspecting folks just for the warm fuzzy factor
• Host volleyball tournament(s) for Gresham/Barlow boys volleyball teams' fundraiser event
